About Us
Our Vision
To build an enlightened, self-reliant society by bridging grassroots education with the profound depth of Indian Knowledge Systems — nurturing empowered educators and scientifically grounded, socially conscious future generations.

Our Mission
Our mission is to strengthen the foundations of education at the grassroots level — equipping teachers with modern, activity-based skills, reconnecting learning with India’s rich scientific and cultural heritage, and ensuring no student is left behind due to lack of access or opportunity.
Educator Empowerment Program
To empower and upskill school educators with contemporary, activity-based pedagogies and strong foundational knowledge, elevating classroom teaching standards.
Integrating Indian Knowledge Systems
To integrate Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) into mainstream learning, highlighting India’s heritage in mathematics, sciences, and sustainable living alongside modern empirical inquiry.
Equitable Access & Mentorship
To ensure equitable academic access and mentorship for underprivileged students, fostering both scientific temper and cultural roots.
Our Goals
Beyond our core mission, we’ve set clear, actionable goals to translate vision into practice — building the infrastructure, programmes, and partnerships needed to make science and quality education a lived experience for students, teachers, and the wider community.
-
Hands-On Learning Centre
Establish a centre staffed by resource persons who can create an environment for hands-on experience, encouraging innovation and experimentation.
-
Youth Engagement in Science
Organise exhibitions, competitions, and activities that encourage youth involvement in science and technology.
-
Expanding Educational Impact
Undertake educational, industrial, or other activities that support, enhance, and widen the scope and quality of education, science, and technology.
-
Training & Capacity Building
Conduct training programmes, seminars, workshops, and interactive contact programmes for students, teachers, and entrepreneurs.
-
Community-Driven Problem Solving
Identify local problems, coordinate with relevant agencies, and work with local communities to arrive at practical solutions.
-
Building Strategic Partnerships
Collaborate with schools, colleges, government bodies, and like-minded organizations to strengthen outreach and multiply the impact of our programmes.
Our Strategy
To turn our goals into reality, we follow a clear, sustainable approach — grounded in community ownership, minimal bureaucracy, and guidance from experienced leaders across science, industry, and society.
A dedicated building and Science & Technology Park will be developed on one acre of land belonging to the Samsthe.
The Samsthe operates on a no-loss, no-profit basis, sustained by support from individuals, organisations, and government bodies.
Institutions developed under the Samsthe will be open-ended, with minimal bureaucracy and a multidisciplinary character — spaces that belong to everybody, and to which everybody belongs.
An Advisory Committee of eminent persons from science, industry, and other sections of society guides our work.
Looking Ahead — A Pavilion of Science, Technology, Environment & Industry
As part of our next phase, we plan to establish a dedicated Pavilion featuring:
Basic Science Unit
Experiments and models demonstrating fundamental scientific facts and principles.
Children’s Science & Technology Park
An outdoor facility where young children discover scientific principles and technological developments through play.
“See and Believe” Section
Hands-on space where children conduct basic experiments themselves.
Computer Software Access
Multimedia educational programmes giving children direct exposure to various fields of science.
Internet Exposure
Introducing children to the vast learning potential of the internet through guided group sessions.
Entrepreneur Linkages
Connecting entrepreneurs with local resources to develop goods and services of local and national relevance.
