Teacher Training Programme in Science & Mathematics
Between 1999 and 2001, the Samsthe conducted a series of training programmes for primary and secondary school teachers, held in batches of 40–50 participants. The approach focused on equipping teachers with the skills to develop and use simple, cost-effective equipment for conducting effective and engaging science and mathematics experiments — making hands-on learning accessible even with limited resources.
Over multiple sessions across more than two years, this sustained effort helped build a strong base of educators capable of bringing practical, low-cost experimentation into their classrooms.
