Date: Saturday, 16th May 2026 | Venue: Samsthe’s Office
The Samsthe convened a consultative meeting to chart the way forward for its upcoming Science Education Initiative — a project aimed at bridging the gap between higher education and school-level science by empowering B.Sc. students to design and build innovative working models for high school students.

Agenda
The meeting focused on three key areas:
- Discussing the strategic steps required for the successful implementation of the initiative
- Identifying and finalizing key personnel and stakeholders to be involved
- Other matters raised with the Chair’s permission
Key Outcomes
The discussion led to several important decisions that will shape the initiative going forward:
- The programme’s scope will extend beyond B.Sc. students to also include B.Ed. students, broadening the pool of future educators involved
- Plans to introduce capability-building training programmes for science and mathematics teachers
- A decision to move forward with developing an official website for Dr. M. I. Savadatti Vidyavardhaka Samsthe
- A proposal to create a photo gallery of Prof. Dr. M. I. Savadatti in classroom settings, preserving a visual record of his teaching legacy
